Safe, Legal, and Hassle-Free Firearm Purchases
Purchasing a firearm through Huscarl Arms means every transaction follows all federal and state regulations to ensure a safe and lawful transfer. We handle all NICS background checks on-site as required by the ATF, giving you peace of mind that your purchase is processed correctly and securely.
If you’re ordering a firearm online or from another dealer, we also provide FFL transfer services. Once your firearm arrives at our shop, we’ll notify you and guide you through the background check and paperwork process. Most transfers can be completed the same day once approval is received.
Background check approval times can vary. In some cases, a brief delay may occur while the ATF completes processing.
What to Bring
Please bring the following with you when purchasing or transferring a firearm:
- A valid state-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license)
- Any additional permits required by your state (e.g., concealed carry permit)
Our Process
- Complete Your Purchase – Whether buying in-store or receiving a transfer, our staff will guide you through the required forms and verification.
- Background Check Submission – We submit your information securely through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).
- Approval & Pickup – Once approved, you can take possession of your firearm. In the event of a delay, we’ll notify you immediately.
Out-of-State & Online Purchases
Buying a firearm online or from another dealer? No problem. Have your firearm shipped directly to Huscarl Arms using our FFL (Federal Firearms License). Once it arrives, we’ll contact you to schedule your pickup and complete the background check.
License Transfer Fees
We strive to keep our transfer fees fair and transparent. Fees subject to change; please call ahead for large shipments or special items.

Important Notes
- All firearm purchases and transfers must be completed by the individual listed on the paperwork.
- You must be 18 years or older to purchase rifles and shotguns, and 21 or older to purchase handguns.
- Background check results may return as Approved, Delayed, or Denied — we’ll assist you through the process in any case.
